I’ve just discovered The Guardian series Disappearing Acts. A series of reports presented as an audio slide show covering skills and professions that are… disappearing. Marvellous stuff: stonemasonry, calligraphy, silk ties… Well worth a look.

SVT (the Swedish public service broadcaster) have a nice little iPhone app which they’re waiting (of course) for Apple to approve. To help the processs along they’ve made a site called dearstevejobs.com. Good luck to ‘em.

Sir Ken Robinson recently answered questions submitted via Reddit on the TED site. Worth a read.
